GPS Counseling was founded by Dennis Yager SST CACM MTT. Mr. Yager is a counselor and Motivational Interviewing trainer with 20 years alcohol and drug counseling experience. He understands the challenges clients face and offers a “Client Centered” approach that “values the clients autonomy and perspective”.
He is a Motivational Interviewing Trainer and was among the first cadre of counselors to complete the State of Michigan Training Initiative. Non confrontational but directive Motivational Interviewing or MI is proven most effective in producing healthy behavior change.
